Authorization and Supervisory Authority

Smedvig Asset Allocation AS is a securities services company with authorization from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway. Pursuant to §9-1, first subsection, cf. § 2-1, first subsection no. 4 and no. 5, of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act, the company is authorized to provide the following services:
- Active management of an investor’s portfolio of financial instruments, on an individual basis or with power of attorney from the investor.
- Investment advice

The company is also authorized to provide the following associated services.
- No. 1 Custody and management of financial instruments
- No. 4. Foreign currency exchange related services in relation to the provision of investment services

The supervisory authority is the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, which monitors the company’s activities on a continuous basis.
